Scot Siegel, AICP, LEED AP, President/Principal
Before establishing Siegel Planning in 2004, Scot Siegel was a senior planner and office manager for two large architecture and engineering firms in Portland, Lake Oswego and Bend, Oregon. He has over 30 years of planning and management experience, and has previously served as a city planner and planning director for jurisdictions in Oregon and Washington, and as staff planner with 1000 Friends of Oregon. Since beginning his consulting work in 1995, Scot has served over 60 communities in seven western states. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography with Honors from Oregon State University, and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University. He is a recipient of the American Society of Consulting Planners Smart Growth-Sustainable Planning Award. Scot is a former board member with the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association and Western Planning Resources, Inc. He is an article reviewer for the American Planning Association AICP Practicing Planner and serves on the Planning Accreditation Board’s Site Visit Committee. Debra Siegel, Senior Associate
Debra Siegel has over 28 years of professional experience in technical journalism, marketing, and public administration. She supports the firm with public communications and technical editing. Debra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Journalism and a Master’s of Public Administration. She previously served as Technical Editor with a large architectural and engineering firm, and was Public Affairs/Citizen Information Coordinator for the City of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Debra is also the owner of Kumon Math and Reading of Lake Grove, an after-school learning center serving over 200 students weekly since 2003.
