Siegel Planning Services LLC is a
leader in development code reform. Scot Siegel, AICP LEED AP,
has served as a prime consultant to the Oregon Transportation and
Growth Management (TGM) Smart Development Code Assistance Program
since 1998. In 2000, the American Society of Consulting Planners
recognized Siegel with its Smart Growth and Sustainable Planning
Award for his work on Oregon's Model Development Code for Small
Cities.
Mr. Siegel has worked with over forty
communities in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Utah and Arizona
in modernizing local land use and development codes. He has also
produced several model ordinances for the State of Oregon, including
the Commercial and Mixed-Use Development Handbook, the Infill and
Redevelopment Handbook, and the award-winning Small Cities Model

Recently, the American Planning Association cited Siegel's work
in their compendium of model smart growth ordinances, which is being
produced for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). For more
